I guess this isn't a bug, but I'm having a major problem with the bridge over the Ganges river-- or more specifically, a lack thereof. It's broken, and so is the ferry; the river is too high, fast, and deep to cross any other way. Is this broken for everyone? I can wait until someone else fixes it, but I don't have the skills or supplies to do so myself, and if I go all the way around through Mesopotamia and Bactria I'll miss basically all of my quests.
Help? |

I fixed all of the bridges for now since this is the first time this feature has been working, but be aware that the bridges and ferries can be washed out and it will require you to go around or maybe cross on foot or try to fix them. |

Hmm. They still seem to be washed out, at least for me. I wouldn't mind risking crossing on foot, but it simply won't let me. I get that the realism of the bridge washing out is nice, but is this going to happen that often? Because honestly, no real-life trader would have to go back around the Persian gulf because a bridge was out in Northern India.
I guess it will make more sense when there's a lot more players, so someone can repair it pretty fast.
Thanks for your help regardless! |

They got washed out again on that river because the rains were affecting the rivers too much and the chance of breaking was too high. I tried to lessen the impact of rain on rivers and make the chance of breaking less and also made it much more likely that the bridges and ferries will repair themselves. I also reset the rivers so they should be crossable now. |
