Hey, I'm having trouble buying items.
Long, no doubt boring story short: I click something under buy/sell, and all it does is show me the item. It doesn't let me buy it.
Am I doing something wrong, or is Ris just defective? |

Are they items from the marketplace that vendors sell in the city? You are talking about the column headed by Buy/Sell with the item name below it?
Are you in the same city as the item you're trying to buy?
Does the item require reputation? If it does, you won't be able to buy it.
I did just change the interface on this by moving the text around but I was able to buy something just a second ago. |

I'm not sure. I'm pretty sure none of it required reputation (it was stuff like feathers and rugs).
Ah, I see. It probably wasn't in the city. Okay, I'll keep that in mind in the future. |

| Ha ha ha, and a new crisis has arisen. How do I put items up for sale to other players, and not just sell them to a city? |

| You need to put them in a building, then you can sell them. And just in case you didn't know, and were planning to, you can't sell luxuries. |
