Looking to Purchase Good Elephant Stock

After being passed repeatedly on the trade paths, it has become clear that I need to purchase better animals. The Stock in Arikamedu and Oc Eo do not seem to live up to the animals passing me and leaving me in the dust.

I have sent a message to each of the taverns in the hope of tracking down a reputable breeder who can provide strong, quick and hardy animals.

I have the best elephants in the game. I can breed you some that can carry more than 1800 pounds each and move at speeds in excess of 6.5mph, more if they've been trained (mine move at 20mph!). Only the dragons and the pegasus can move over 6.5mph, and no other creature in the game is anywhere near that strong. I may be willing to sell you some of my partially trained elephants, which can travel at speeds greater than 10mph - faster than other animal.

The only negative trait is that the elephants have trouble with the steepest paths. There's less than half a dozen that they are completely incapable of traversing (2 at last count, but don't quote me on that), but these all have alternative routes available, so it's not as if you won't be able to reach any cities, and considering how fast they travel the more roundabout route to your destination will only use a few extra turns. I have a full list of the paths that might give you trouble, and I'll be happy to provide you with this list so you can plan your journey in advance.

Let me know how many elephants you want, and what you're willing to pay.

Please keep in mind that none of the ones with speed near 20mph will be sold as these are my caravan animals. The rest are my breeding stock.

Being relatively new to the game I am not sure what the economics are yet. What is an appropriate price for 2 newly born elephants that can carry1800 pounds each and move at speeds in excess of 6.5mph?

Elephants are ready and I really underestimated them. They can each carry 1920 pounds and travel at 8.5mph. They're in your trades. Enjoy.
