Heya everyone.
So, I get one of those bandit quests...I go out, kill a couple of bandits.
Well, alright, alot of bandits.
And it comes to my attention that, because I killed so many bandits and because I'm so oblivious, my workers all died.
...No sweat, there's a deity to take care of that, right? Right. So, I go back to the town, switch my deity to "hades," and blow a million or so gaining favor. I wait...
Nothing. Is there like, an on switch to this or something?
I looked around and, nope, no on switch. So, I go back on the trail, still trying not to panic (but not doing a very good job of it). Maybe I just don't have enough favor. No sweat, I just need to earn some more cash before I can start getting favor.
Now, I kill a couple more bandits, and here's where it really gets sad. And funny. But mostly sad.
So, I guess I killed a couple more bandits than I realized. But that's OK, because my mule and my one remaining worker are doing alright. They must be hardier than my last lot of workers.
NOT! I go back to the city, and, much to my dismay, I have 0 favor with my deity left.
...So thaaaat's why my last worker kept surviving!
This particular fact was lost on me as I was otherwise preoccupied screaming into my pillow.
Anyway, now that I've calmed down a bit (not really, but that's OK), I have to wonder. Is there any other way to get workers back with favor from Hades? Or any other way to get workers back, period? I really liked those workers. >.< |

Hehe, I guess that's what I get for getting greedy with the bandits quests, then. I lost a scavenger, an Amazon, and an adventurer. I actually care most about the Amazon, she was up to level 9 and pretty useful to me. The scavenger and the adventurer were only on level 3, so I don't mind it if I have to start from scratch on those.
So, yeah, no pressure, but if you're up for training me another Amazon, that would be nice. Money is no object; I'm not overly-rich but I don't mind paying for a good worker. |
