"Your world bank account balance is: 5057 coins."
I tried withdrawing 100 coins, 5057 coins, and many numbers in between. Is the world bank not working, or does it not work like a bank... ? |

Ok, here's the problem. The world bank is a globally shared account and if people take all the money out, there won't be any in it. It starts with some money but not enough to cover all deposits.
But. If lots of people put money into it and leave it there, then the world bank gains interest and the players gain interest and the world bank gains interest faster...so if people can put money in there and leave it there (when they're richer) then there will be money there to withdraw for everyone.
It's strange, but it is an experiment to see if players are willing to help each other and can trust each other enough to all make money together. And it's not really necessary except that when you lose money to bandits and stuff like that, your world bank money is safe. There should be a red message at the top of the page when you try to withdraw the money saying there isn't enough money in it. I've put some more in it for now. |

One more thing... I withdrew 100 coins (just to see if it was working), then deposited 10k.
"Your world bank account balance is: 4960 coins."

Thought this would be a neat way to safeguard some coins. Moved 8359 (orsoemething like that) to the world bank. It did take it off my coin total, but did not raise my bank total. So I withdrew it back out, which made my world bank total go down, into the negatives, and it did not make my coin total go up at all. |

Oops. This has been messed up for over a month. I will give everyone some money because of this. |
