|

I have a couple of buildings spread throughout the map, but as of right now I just need to make some money. I could drop everything and try to get out to these places...
But wouldn't it be easier to hire another player to do it for me?
Isn't that what caravans do? They are hired to transport goods from one place to another. We could have a hiring board, put some money up and wham, you got a job to do. A REASON to cross the map.
You could offer your services and how much weight you could take, or how much weight you need transported. Of course the items would have to be protected from the caravan leader... But maybe every once in a while, a bandit could make off with the delivery. That's why people with mercs and other helpers would be more likely to be hired than otherwise.
If not players then NPCs that have different prices based on the city/town.
What'ya think? |

| I'd definitely like to see some way for us to move items between buildings we own. If we can encounter merchants on the trail who ask us to transport goods to certain cities, why can't we ask the same of other merchants, be they other players or some sort of automated service. When we are trading workers/animals between players it takes 10 or 20 camps to do this, since they are 'in transit' in that time. I see no reason why we can't have a similar trading service between our own buildings, with a similar transit time and possibly also a fee to do this, although of course luxuries shouldn't be able to be traded between buildings any more than they should be able to be traded between players. |

| Yes! It would be awesome to not have to make the trek back to Egypt every time I need to resupply my craftsmen. |
