I'm sure you've all seen scavenger hunts on forums before, but this one will be a little different. The items you will be required to find will be in the Legendera world, not on the forum.

The list:
I have made several landmarks in Legendera.
For each one you find I will award you 100,000 coins.
If you manage to find all of them I will award you 1,000,000 coins and 2 elixirs
Some are on trails and some are in cities. You may have the following hints:
~ One contains a famous movie quote.
~ One contains links to every single city in Legendera.
~ Who doth quoth this? "Nevermore."
These hints are not designed to help you find where these landmarks are located, but rather to enable you to recognise them as mine when you see them.

If you think you've found one of my landmarks post a link to it here and I'll tell you if you're right or not.

I may provide additional hints if you seem to be having trouble finding the landmarks.

As an added bonus, if anyone manages to find The Lost City of Atlantis I will award you 1,000,000 coins for this alone. This will be extremely difficult to find, and looking in all the usual places will not help you. You will not be getting any additional hints - it's hard for a reason. I wish you the best of luck though.

Note: In my previous post I mentioned that I will award 1,000,000 coins and 2 elixirs to whoever finds all my landmarks. You won't have to find Atlantis to get this award, Atlantis is just a bonus.

Feel free to discuss the hints here. I may be willing to give you a nudge in the right direction if you're getting close.

Just a hint: you don't need to visit a city or travel along a trail to see the landmarks. You can just click the city/trail and then click the 'Landmarks' link to see all the landmarks in that place.

Uh-oh... I'm cornering the market!

In Louyang...

You know, it's funny because I'm getting to know so many people through this scavenger hunt: Like Andalib, KimYo, Ireland, etc... Leaving such crazy landmarks.

Don't even get me started on the Grulla Mare statues.

So is it this?

Along the Forbidden Path

Now I'm just gonna find that Atlantis...

Okay, so Atlantis isn't on a trail or in a city...

Maybe it's a wonder? Or do I have to get a ship to travel the SE passage?

Atlantis was supposed to be near Greece/Rome since Plato is the one that talked about it... hmmmm

Wow, you're good. That is indeed all three of my landmarks. I'll send you a trade for your winnings. You'll have to wait for your elixirs though since I don't have the ingredients to make them right now. They'll be along soon though.

The 'famous movie quote' did indeed refer to "This is Sparta!" from the movie 300. I just couldn't help myself. Smile
The landmark containing links to all cities was the world map in Louyang. I made this map to help myself with finding the regions and thought it could be useful to other players so I placed it in Louyang, which is the city all players start in.
As for 'Who doth quoth this? "Nevermore."' This was a little more subtle than the other hints, although the language should have given it away. It refers to the famous poem by Edgar Allen Poe entitled The Raven which includes the infamous line "Quoth the raven, `Nevermore.'" This should have told you the landmark contained something pretty significant to do with a raven. It was actually the first landmark I made, not long after I started the game. I just felt that the Forbidden Path deserved its own guardian.

As for Atlantis, as far as I know you can only place landmarks in cities or on trails. And you shouldn't need to travel a trail to see its landmarks so you shouldn't need a ship or even a mule.
I won't say any more or I'll give it away, although I'm sorely tempted to give you a few hints to steer you clear of a few potential mistakes that will lead you down very long and fruitless paths. Keep me updated with your progress, as in where you are searching, etc, and I might provide you with a few hints then.

Atlantis is still yet to be found. It is very well hidden, so don't expect it to be easy. A map might help.

Atlantis is still managing to elude everyone. Just to confirm: the underwater city is near Greece, as already suspected by some players.

I found Atlantis!
*giggles and dances*

...and it only took me 3 minutes. That's got to be, like, a record or something. xD *praises tab button for showing her hidden links*

http://www.legendera.com/landmarks.php?city_id=1&trail_id=0&idkey=225

*EDIT: And the discovery of Atlantis has led me to yet another unusual discovery (because I do seem seem so lucky at finding those); there are exactly 8 undiscovered cities, plus one city known as 'the caravan.' All you have to do to get to these cities is take a normal URL of a city and change the last number to any number 1-8. Changing the number to 0 will also bring you to a town known as 'the caravan' where you can do absolutely nothing but look around a bit; you can't make landmarks in town 0. But I was thinking... with #0 off the list, #1 being Atlantis and since I already claimed #2 for myself...
That's 6 private cities available for owning. Pretty cool if you ask me. xD

...same thing goes for players; every player ID under 148 is an unknown player...and I'm assuming same thing goes for guilds and such. -goes off to investigate more-*

Congratulations! The way you found Atlantis was indeed how I ended up finding the 'hidden' cities in the first place. However I did leave a few hidden clues around the game to enable people to get there by alternative means. In a couple of posts in this thread I left the subtle hints "A map might help." and "The underwater city is near Greece." These were actually alluding to my map I placed in Louyang, and a hidden link I placed on the map off the coast of Greece. On that map, like with the real one, if you hover over a city its name will show up. You should find a small patch of ocean on that map has the label 'Atlantis', and clicking there will take you to city #1, where my landmark is.

I've sent a trade for 1,000,000 coins. Once again, congratulations on managing to find The Lost City of Atlantis.

Just to summarise, all my landmarks are as follows:
Raven's Wrath, a trail guardian I placed along the Forbidden Path
This is Sparta, a funny warning I just had to place in Sparta.
A Map of the Known World, a helpful map that shows the different regions, which I placed in the city all players start in, Louyang.
The Lost City of Atlantis, a hidden landmark I placed in a very hard-to-find location.
