"We here in Khanbalik are very impressed with your Jeweler, Denethor [#2306] and would like you to allow him to come work with us. What do you say?"
I'd just like to clarify what will actually happen if I complete this quest. Will I lose my jeweller, or will the jeweller just be housed in Khanbalik and I'll still be able to use him? Or will he stay there for a little while then come back to my caravan? |

| If you accept and complete the quest, your jeweler will belong to the city and you will no longer have access or any control over the jeweler. |

| Ah. Oh dear. That doesn't sound like a quest I'd like to complete, although I can see the benefit of it with older workers. Thanks for your help. |

you're welcome  I learned that one the hard way. lol
But yes it is a good thing if your worker is reaching retirement and you've gotten a replacement apprentice. The only drawback is that you have to transport them to the city you're allowing them to work for...so if you accept the offer from a city far away, its a pain to go back and get them and transport them to the city. |
