Either one is possible.

Anyway, what I'm trying to figure out is how to end an event. I entered into "Arabian Arabians" and went all the way from Kane to Barbarikon, where the event is supposed to end. The thing is, this is what the page looks like when I go to the palace to try and end the event:



There's no place to end it there! Now, I'm done with the event, but it still adds on a turn to my score whenever I take a turn. The problem is; I'd like to keep playing Legendera, and I don't want to have to stop and wait until tomorrow! Is there a reason why there's no way to be done with your events except waiting until the midnight server? Or am I just missing something?

The same thing happened to me during an event...John did fix it but it was a different event than yours...maybe the bug is still there for your event

Btw, what restictions does that event have (need certain animals?)

Nothing official (like, "you can't run this event if you don't have ...") but the travel through Arabia is really rough on your animals; I use only my Arabians and Akhal-tekes (I tried it with my Mongol horse once and the poor thing nearly died). It's also useful to have no workers, they just get in the way, and LOTS of food and water. Like, as much as you can carry.
I've never gotten stuck before, but I only use horses; so for all I know you could try and go down there with a camel or something and not be able to.
