|
|
ok so when im in a city and i wanna sell my stuff and i go to "my items here" and then to "caravan items" and it shows me the list of my items it tells you the following information about each item:
-buy/sell
-info
-quantity
-weight
-total weight
-base cost
-cost/weight
-buy price
-sell price
-cost mult.
-local cost/weight
so my question is this....is the actual price that i paid for it under buy price? and if so what is the base cost then? what is the cost multiplier? if i had 3 items i could sell in the city whats beter the one that has the cost multiplier at (1X), (3.4X), or (2.22)? well basically can someone answer these questions for me ide be sooo grateful? and any other tips about this table would be helpful too. does this feel like math class yet lol...if the train is at point a and its moving at 3.5 mph.........LOL jk |

A higher multiplier is better when selling...of the three items you mentioned the one with a 3.4 multiplier would mean it is for sale at 3xs base cost. For example if you buy an item that has a multiplier of 1 you are buying it as cheap as possible. So if you buy at 1xs and you sell at 3xs you are selling it for 3xs what you paid for it.
I know the multipliers were confusing to me at first (and I'm sure to alot of others) so don't be shy about asking questions. I was explaining game to a friend and she was like, geez this is confusing!
When you are starting out in game it IS overwhelming! That's why posts on forum are great cause we all have questions and we get answers from others. |

| The cost mult is a percentage. A cost mutl of 1 mean you do 1x the base price of the item. A cost mult of 2 would be 200% of the item's base cost, or the same a doing 2x the base cost of the item. |

| i guess i should make myself a lil more clear about such a generalized statement. ive noticed that a couple people always answer everyones questions on here, and they almost always are the same 2 people. it really helps us newbies out and is really nice of you to take your time to explain everything inside and out the way you have been. so i thought it would be nice to send a big thanks for everyone that has been a help. |

Whenever you go to a warehouse you will buy at 1 or 1.01 multiplier so you know you are buying at lowest price If you go into the marketplace in each city you will see many items for sale at various multipliers, the further from 1x the more you will pay. Same thing applies for selling, try and sell at the highest multiplier. At the top of your screen it will tell you where you bought the item and how much you paid for it. Then it also tells you where you sold the itm and how much you sold it for. The warehouse items are also listed in the marketplace.
