Every sailing route I try that has an overland route between the same two cities sends me on the overland route instead, and I can't sail it at all.
The ones I've tried that have this problem are between the following cities:
Alexandria & Cyrene
Rome & Croton
Rome & Messina
Athena & Sparta
I have reason to believe this would also be the case for all other such routes.
This is because to start travel you click on a link of the form:
http://legendera.com/start_travel.php?action=start&end_city=60
This only codes in the destination city, not the trail travelled, so when there is more than one available trail on that route, the overland trail seems to be preferentially selected. |
