Orbis Worlds Game Etiquette Article - Player Feedback Need

Hey guys!
Its Alias again (Virtual Horse Ranch #183320), for this months newsletter I'm doing an article on Game Etiquette. I will be posting this same thread on all of the forums that Orbis games has. I need feedback from all of you regarding the etiquette people expect to see while playing Virtual Horse Ranch, Virtual Pups, Sandbox Farms, Virtual Horse Ranch II 3D, and even Legendera if I can find some people willing to be interviewed over there.

What I need from every body is what you personally think is good etiquette on your given game. This includes Ranch/Farm/Kennel messages, forum messages, chat, and any other form of conversation there if for your game. I want to know what you expect others to behave by. Details are nice, but if you just want to list the rules you think others should follow and should know when playing the game, that's fine. Remember, please, that I will be changing your list into a conversation form.

If you cant think if anything to write I have come up with a list of questions you can answer as well, I would like them to be answered as fully as possible in order to give the best information I can to everyone. I will be using your answers in my article for the November issue of the Newsletter, so quick responses would be lovely!


The Questions:

1. What do you consider to be good etiquette when contacting a player on your game?

2. When you receive a message in your game or on your forum (if you have one) what do you look at that makes you respond nicely or not so nicely?

3. Many players use chatspeak, how do you feel about it?

4. When you message someone, how do you word your writing to make the other person want to respond instead of ignoring it?

5. Is using proper grammar something that affects your decision to answer the person?

6. Do you consider it bad form to send mass messages advertising something to other people? (events, raffles, breedings, items, ect.)

7. What makes you want to respond to messages?

8. What makes you not want to respond to messages?

9. Does a persons standing in the game have any effect on this?

10. What do you consider to be good etiquette?
