I have now and have had several tailors in the past, but my skill level shows zero for tailoring. These are the stats for my current tailor who is ALWAYS busy crafting...
Experience: 12020
Training: 6159
Level: 40
I've also noticed that if I sell a worker the skills disappear. I had a leather worker, a diplomat, etc. before who were experienced and my levels there show zero also. Isn't that something that should stay with you? I seem to remember something said about building your levels up and eventually you won't need hunters/dowsers in your caravan...Is this not true anymore? |

| Certian jobs, such as all crafting, can only be done by workers and not the player. |

So you're saying...if I have a worker and I reach a certain skill level, that it is "wasted" when the worker is retired? Seems wrong imo...why wouldn't the skill level stay with the player, what's the point if they disappear?
Still doesn't explain why my current tailor points aren't showing up... |

You should still have your skills on your player that you learned from workers. You won't learn crafting skills since the crafters stay in cities but the other trail skills you should still know. You have lots of experience in the trail skills but none in the crafting. Now, if you all wanted to, I could let you slowly gain experience in crafting skills and maybe apply a percentage of that to your worker crafting or something like that. If that sounds interesting, I can put that in. |

| i like that idea even if we werent able to do the crafting ourselves but our lvl in that craft was then rubbed off onto our next crafter of that nature....either way sounds fun to me lol. i know n other games ive played simular to this you were able to choose 1-2 professions like tailor, jeweler, leather worker, potion maker, ect. and then you had different areas within that profession you could specialize in like for a tailor for instance you could specialize in clothes for a certian type of ppl like a dowser or priest and a leather worker might specialize in gear for hunters that boosts their agility or specialize in clothes for a mercenary that has more armor to it lol. these are just examples of other games ive played before. so yeah i think its fun tobe able to atleast have 1 profession that you can specialize in and lvl up in and make money off of. (the other games i played you lvl;d your crafting skill by making certain things within that craft and ten learning new things from a trainer (cause after a certain point what you were maken couldnt lvl your skill no more cause youde get up in lvl points and that previous pattern/recipe was too low to lvl u) so it would naturally be didfferent here since its based on what you learn from your workers.) but i liked haven a proffession before, gives you something to do in a city on down time when your outa turns (im always outa turns it seems lol). |
