I'm traveling On Spice Route: Ganges Way between Pataline and Taxila. I came to the Ganges River... and I get this message:
You are at Ganges River. The width of the water is:
Incredibly High
, the depth of the water is:
Incredibly High
and the speed of the water is:
Medium
.
o Ford the River (Dangerous!)
o Make a Rope Chain (Less Dangerous!)
o Repair the Bridge
o Repair the Ferry
It won't even let me attempt to Ford or Make a Rope Chain.
I don't have the necessary items to repair either the Bridge or the Ferry.
However....
When I Switch Directions to go back the way I came from, I get the very same message.
Basically, I'm trapped as I can't go either way.
Is this whats supposed to happen?

| I'm now trapped also. The trail is to steep and my animals can't go forwards or back. I'm on the Spice Route: Ganges Pass. |

Hey there 
For the bridge repair it says:
You need 1000 stone and you only have 0.
You need 300 wood and you only have 0.
For the Ferry repair it says:
You need 960 wood and you only have 0.
I know we get different kinds of wood, but have never seen it termed as simply wood. I haven't been playing for an extremely long time, but I don't recall ever getting or seeing "stone"... unless there is somewhere else to get these things that I haven't noticed yet.
Which is entirely possible..lol I tend to just travel around.  |

No it's not supposed to happen. I think I fixed it and you should be able to turn around and go back the other way. |

Coudl you possable let me go back into town? I'm still stuck .19 miles out of town because the trail is to steep.  |

Try this again since I made it easier for animals to move along trails now. |

Try it again, I have been working out bugs in the rivers code and stuff this morning. |

I just put myself to the same spot you are and was able to cross the river in both directions and keep going. If you don't mind I would like to log in as you and try to cross the river to see from your account what's up if it's still not working. |

I just logged in as you and saw the river problem and crossed and it looked like it worked ok. I didn't want to mess with your caravan more than taking that one turn. |
