what is the point of influence?

i have like 20 influence and i have no idea what to do with it.

When ever you have influence you can use it to create items (for free)! Whichever city you have influence in go to the warehouse and click on whatever items are there. You will see a little box near top left that says create so many items, it uses 5 influence everytime you create...you can then either sell the created items right away or keep them in your caravan to sell elsewhere...or you can save up influence to 100 and eventually create a wonder...I wouldnt recommend that right now as there arent any stone around (glitch?) anyway hope this isn't tmi, lol, and hope it helps
